Available Services

Bathing, Dressing, & Grooming

This includes bedside baths, assistance with showering, hygiene care & appearance, and getting dressed.

Medication Management

Caregivers are not authorized to physically administer medication, however reminding clients to take their medication and ensuring that they do so, is permitted.

Light Housework & Shopping

This includes errands to & from the grocery store, cleaning kitchen & bathrooms, tidying bedrooms & other small areas, linen change, and vacuuming

Laundry

This includes washing, drying, and folding desired laundry & linen. Clients must provide necessary supplies such as detergent for this service.

Meal Preparation

This includes preparing desired meals according to specific diets/nutritional needs, warming up previously prepped food per clients request.

Transferring & Toileting

This includes assisting with transferring the client from one area to another, assisting with toileting needs, and assistance with incontinence care.

The Home Help program is a free program designed by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Qualified individuals are able to receive assistance with their ADL's all while remaining within the comfort of their own home.

Eligibility Requirements for Medicaid beneficiaries:

  • Active Medicaid

  • Require assistance to perform at least one activity of daily living (ADL)

If you are not a Medicaid beneficiary, but still wish to receive in home care services, please contact us and inquire on the private pay options that are available.
